Beatrix of Men's Soccer Earns United Soccer Coaches All-Region Honors

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Two weeks after being named to the D2 CCA's All-East Region First Team, Enzo Beatrix of the University of Bridgeport's men's soccer team added All-East second-team honors to his resume from the United Soccer Coaches on Tuesday.

Beatrix, who was also named to the CACC's All-Conference First team, was terrific in his first season at UB. The Frenchman led the Purple Knights with 16 points off six goals and four assists while starting all 18 contests.

Beatrix' superb campaign featured five games of multiple points, including a dramatic, game-winning tally in the 89th minute versus AIC (Sept. 14). Following that goal, he was named the CACC's Rookie of the Week. Beatrix was also selected as the conference's Co-Player and Co-Rookie of the Week on Sept. 30.
