Men's Soccer's Beatrix and Miranda Named 2024 CACC All-Conference
Duo combined for 10 goals and 10 assists.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Following superb efforts on the pitch this season, Enzo Beatrix and Joao Miranda were each named to CACC All-Conference Teams on Tuesday. Beatrix was tabbed as a first teamer while Miranda made his way on to the second team.
Beatrix was sensational in his first season at UB. The Frenchman tied for the team lead with 15 points off six goals and four assists. He finished with five games of multiple points, including a dramatic, game-winning tally in the 89th minute versus AIC on Sept. 14. Following that goal, he was named the CACC's Rookie of the Week. Beatrix was also selected as the conference's Co-Player and Co-Rookie of the Week on Sept. 30.
Miranda also put together a terrific campaign in his sophomore year at UB. The Bridgeport native led the Purple Knights and ranked sixth in the CACC in assists with six while also adding four goals. Miranda served as UB's hero against Chestnut Hill on Oct. 19 when he knocked in the game-winning tally in the 87th minute. Miranda now has nine goals and 11 assists in his first two seasons at Bridgeport.
