RUTHERFORD, N.J. – The sixth-seeded University of Bridgeport men's soccer team dropped its CACC quarterfinal matchup on Sunday at third-seeded Felician by a score of 4-1. The Purple Knights end their season with an overall record of 7-8-3.
Bridgeport struck first against the Golden Falcons thanks to Soren Larue's first goal of the season in the third minute of the game. Ewen Le Cozic earned the assist for his third helper of the year.
Felician evened things up with a tally in the 16th minute before putting three goals across in the second half.
In addition to Larue finding the back of the net, Bridgeport put four other shots on net that were stopped by Felician goalkeeper Emanuele Moretti.
On the other side, UB's goalkeeper Gianny Provincial finished with two saves in a complete 90 minutes in net.
