Sophomore Clayton Ulmer's Goal Gives Men's Soccer A 1-0 Home Win Over Felician

Bridgeport, Conn.-Sophomore Clayton Ulmer (Hamden, Conn.) scored the only goal of the match, his first tally of the 2011 season off an assist from freshman Matt Garcia (Wappingers Falls, N.Y.) at the 63:48 mark of play to give the University of Bridgeport men's soccer team a 1-0 non-conference home win over the visiting Felician College Golden Falcons on Thursday night.  With the victory, Bridgeport is now 8-5-0 overall.  Felician is now 7-8-0 overall.

Junior goalkeeper Danny Hernandez (Bay Shore, N.Y.) made three saves for the Purple Knights to record his fourth solo shutout of the year and the team's fifth clean sheet.

The Purple Knights return to action at St. Thomas Aquinas in a key East Coast Conference contest on Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
