UB's Mariia Rezhylo Earns All-America Honors In The Women's 100 Breaststroke At NCAA D II National Championship Meet
Erik Hren Takes Honorable Mention All-America Accolades In Men's 500 Freestyle
Indianapolis, Indiana-The University of Bridgeport's Mariia Rezhylo (Kiev, Ukraine) earned All-America honors in the women's 100 Breaststroke at the 2019 NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving National Championship Meet held in Indianapolis, Indiana taking fourth place in a time of 1:01.60.
On the men's side, junior Erik Hren (Maribor, Slovenia) earned Honorable Mention All-America honors in the 500 Free taking eleventh place with a time of 4:27.67. Teammate senior Brian Kelly (Mahwah, N.J.) finished 23rd in the same event in a time of 4:31.65.
As a team, the UB women stand in 26th place after day three of the championship, and the Purple Knights men are in 28th place.
Action at the 2019 NCAA Division II National Championship Meet will conclude on Saturday evening.
