Women's Lacrosse Still Looking For First ECC Win After Falling At Home To C.W. Post
Pioneers Best Purple Knights, 20-5
Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport women's lacrosse team lost its fourth straight game on Wednesday evening, as the Purple Knights fell in an East Coast Conference game home to the C.W. Post Pioneers, 20-5. UB is now 3-5 overall and 0-4 in the ECC. The Pioneers raise their overall mark to 11-1, and they are undefeated, 6-0, in conference play.
Freshman Gabrielle Valela (Lindenhurst, N.Y.) netted three goals for UB on the night. Graduate student Lindsay Kehoe (West Haven, Conn.) had two goals and two assists for UB.
Bridgeport will look to get back in the win column on Saturday afternoon when they host St. Thomas Aquinas College in an ECC match-up.
