Gymnastics Scores High in Dual Meet at Brown
Purple Knights post second-highest total of season (193.250)
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Highlighted by their second-highest score of the season, the University of Bridgeport's gymnastics team competed at Brown University on Sunday in a dual meet. The Purple Knights tallied a mark of 193.250 which was narrowly defeated by the Bears' score of 194.100.

INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS
Floor offered the most success for the Purple Knights as they posted a new season-best score. Maggie Coyle earned top honors on the day with a new season-best mark of 9.850 which was UB's highest in any event.
Four more Purple Knights surpassed 9.7's on floor. Abby Kenney placed fourth with a 9.800 while Lola Sepulveda and Skyler Vulchev each tallied 9.750s.
Maddie Viles also performed well on floor with a 9.725 while she also notched a 9.700 on beam.
Speaking of beam, Kenney posted a solid 9.750 to finish in third. She also earned a 9.725 on bars en route to an all-around score of 38.450.
Sepulveda, meanwhile, racked up an all-around mark of 38.575. In addition to floor, she also excelled on vault with a 9.700 and bars with a season-best 9.650.
Nova Staruk provided the Purple Knights' second-best score of the day on vault. The Massachusetts native rattled off a 9.825 which was her second highest mark of the season.
More UB highlights included Nicole Pujals posing a new season-best total on bars (9.725).
