Gymnastics Posts Season-High Score at SEMO Tri-Meet
Purple Knights tally a 193.850 to finish in third place.
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Highlighted by a season-high score of 193.850, the University of Bridgeport's gymnastics team finished third in a tri-meet at Southeast Missouri State on Friday night. The Purple Knights have now eclipsed 193 on three occasions this season.

INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS
A sensational night on floor catapulted UB to its best score of the season. All five of Bridgeport's contributors on floor finished within the top-six scores.
Lola Sepulveda finished tied for third on floor with Maggie Coyle (9.800) while Skyler Vulchev (9.775 – season high), Tamyra Singletary (9.725 – season high) and Maddie Viles (9.725) also all posted exceptional marks.
Sepulveda placed third on vault as well with a season-best mark (9.825) en route to a season-high score in the all-around (38.750).
Speaking of vault, Nova Staruk notched UB's highest mark of the night and a new season best (9.850) while finishing second overall. She has now reached at least 9.8 over three consecutive meets.
More notable vault efforts on Friday came from Emily Hernandez and Singletary. Hernandez finished seventh with a new season high (9.775) while Singletary placed ninth (9.675).
Olivia Imbarlina joined in with top-five marks on both bars (9.650 - season high) and beam (9.725) while Samantha Nokes tied Imbarlina on bars.
