Gymnastics Triumphant in Tri-Meet at LIU
Purple Knights pick up their third win in the last nine days.
BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Competing for the second time in just four days, the University of Bridgeport's gymnastics team earned a tri-meet victory at Long Island University on Monday night. The Purple Knights posted a score of 192.550 which topped the host Sharks' mark of 192.150 and SCSU's 189.925.

INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS
The Purple Knights had three individual winners on Monday night, including a pair of 9.8's by Abby Kenney and Nova Staruk.
Staruk's served as a new season-high mark on vault while Kenney's came on beam which is her second highest score of the year.
Kenney also posted totals of 9.725 both on floor and vault and a 9.650 on bars en route to an all-around score of 38.900.
Samantha Nokes served as UB's third individual winner of the night. The Texas native registered a top mark on bars courtesy of a 9.775 which also signifies a new season best.
In addition to the first-place winners, the Purple Knights enjoyed standout scores from Maggie Coyle (9.725) and Skyler Vulchev on floor (9.675) and Olivia Imbarlina (9.775) and Maddie Viles (9.700) on beam.
Bridgeport has now won four meets this season, including three straight over the last nine days.

The Purple Knights will travel to Ursinus College on Sunday for a quad meet.
