Gymnastics Finishes Third in 2025 Home Debut
Abby Kenney won the all-around with a season-best score.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Competing at home for the first time this season, the University of Bridgeport's gymnastics team posted a score of 190.525 during a quad meet on Saturday night. The Purple Knights finished third in the team standings behind Cornell (191.800) and West Chester (191.050) while Centenary (185.725) placed fourth.

INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS
Junior Abigail Kenney placed first in the all-around on Saturday with a season-best mark of 38.825. She finished within the first five in each event, including the top spot on beam (9.725) and second on floor (9.800).
Kenney, who won the all-around last weekend as well, also tied for fifth on bars (9.600) and vault (9.700).
Fellow junior Lola Sepulveda posted a pair of top-five results of her own. She finished second on vault and fourth on floor—both of which were scores of 9.775.
UB's other top performances included Maggie Coyle's 9.750 on floor which yielded a tie for fifth while Samantha Nokes took home second on bars with a mark of 9.675.
Sophomore Nova Staruk also snatched a top-five finish courtesy of a 9.725 that ended up fourth on the vault leaderboard.
