Gymnastics Makes Season Debut Against Yale and Cornell in Ithaca
Purple Knights finished with a team score of 191.850.
ITHACA, N.Y. – Making their much-anticipated season debut, the University of Bridgeport's gymnastics team posted a score of 191.850 during a tri-meet at Cornell University on Sunday. The Purple Knights made the trip to Ithaca to compete against the host Big Red and the Yale Bulldogs.

INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS
Olivia Imbarlina's first-place mark in the balance beam offered the largest high spot for UB. The senior's score of 9.850 served as the Purple Knights' highest in any event on Sunday.
Abigail Kenney followed Imbarlina on beam with a fourth-place mark (9.775) while Samantha Krenzel placed sixth (9.750).
Kenney also saw success on floor with a fifth-place tally (9.825) and on bars with an eighth-place effort (9.500). Kenney ended up placing third in the all-around with a final tally of 38.625.
More UB highlights on Sunday included a trio of fifth-place performances. Nova Staruk and Emily Hernandez tied for fifth on vault (9.725) while Lola Sepulveda placed fifth on bars (9.600). Freshman Nicole Pujals also earned a 9.600 on bars as an exhibition.
