Kenney of Gymnastics Advances to Vault Individual Event Finals at USAGs

She will now compete one final time on Sunday to try and win the national championship on vault.

WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Continuing her sensational sophomore season, Abigail Kenney of the University of Bridgeport's gymnastics team has advanced to the individual event final on vault at USAG Collegiate Nationals. She will now compete one final time on Sunday to try and win the national championship on vault.

Kenney was superb on Friday during session two of Day One of the national championship meet. She posted a vault score of 9.750 to finish tied for fourth. The top mark on Friday night was a 9.850.

Kenney's season-best vault score this season is also 9.850 which she registered on Feb. 16 at Temple.

The 2024 USAG Collegiate National Championship meet is being held at West Chester University.
