Kelly Aycock Named ECAC Corvias Women's Gymnastics NCAA Division II Rookie Of The Week

Danbury, Conn.-Freshman Kelly Aycock (Locust Grove, Ga.) of the University of Bridgeport women's gymnastics team has been selected as winner of Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Corvias Women's Gymnastics NCAA Division II Rookie of the Week Award for the week ending February 21, 2016 for her outstanding performance in a four-team meet host by Southern Connecticut State University on Sunday.

Performing one of the NCAA's most difficult routines, Aycock posted a strong mark of 9.725 in the floor exercise at SCSU.

This weekend the University of Bridgeport women's gymnastics team will be in action on Saturday in a quad meet hosted by the University of Nebraska.
