Miranda Hillman Named ECC Softball Pitcher Of The Week
Went 3-0 With A 0.98 ERA Last Week

West Babylon, N.Y.-University of Bridgeport sophomore Miranda Hillman (Placentia, California) was been selected as the week's East Coast Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for her outstanding play in games taking place from March 11 through the 17, 2019.
Hillman was a huge reason the Purple Knights went 12-2 on their Spring break trip to Florida, as she made five appearances (two starts) working 21.1 with a 0.98 ERA and a 3-0 record over the seven days. Hillman fired one complete game, fanned 16 batters, and allowed a total of only 15 hits in her busy week.
On the season, Miranda is 4-0 with a 1.02 earned run average.
Teammate Kamryn Beach (Tampa, Fla.) earned a spot on this week's ECC Softball Honor Roll for her fine play last week.
