Vandelli of Men's Cross Country Wins Second CACC Rookie of the Week Award
Vandelli led the UB harriers for the third straight meet to open 2024, this time at the Codfish Bowl in Boston, Mass.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – For the second time to begin his collegiate career, Edoardo Vandelli of the University of Bridgeport's men's cross country team has been named the CACC Rookie of the Week. He was also recognized with this honor on Sept. 10.
Vandelli once again led the UB harriers for the third straight meet to open 2024—this time at the Codfish Bowl in Boston, Mass. Facing treacherous conditions due to heavy rainfall, the Italian finished in 17th place amongst NCAA runners. Vandelli posted an 8K time of 28:18.
The University of Bridgeport's men's cross country team will return to action on Oct. 11 at the 12th Annual Bruce Kirsch Cup.
