Dmochowski of Men's Lacrosse Selected as CACC's Co-Goalkeeper of the Week
Piled up 13 saves in UB's 7-5 win at Felician on Sunday.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Following a terrific performance in a road win at Felician on Sunday, Casey Dmochowski of the University of Bridgeport's men's lacrosse team has been selected as the CACC's Co-Goalkeeper of the Week. He joins Ashton Lankowski and Liam O'Neill as UB's CACC weekly award winners so far this season.
Dmochowski, who has started all eight of Bridgeport's games, was able to keep the Purple Knights within striking distance as they climbed out of a 5-1 deficit against Felician. The sophomore keeper racked up 13 saves while allowing just five goals—all of which came in the first quarter.
Dmochowski has now recorded double-digit stops in seven contests this season and ranks fifth in the CACC in saves per game (12.13).
Dmochowski and the rest of the University of Bridgeport's men's lacrosse team will return to action this Saturday for a home game against Chestnut Hill College (6 p.m.).
