Ryan Thomas of Men's Lacrosse Named CACC Defensive Player of the Week
The second time he has been honored with a CACC weekly award.
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – For the second time this season, Ryan Thomas of the University of Bridgeport's men's lacrosse team has been selected as the CACC's Defensive Player of the Week. He previously won the award on March 4.
Thomas played a pivotal role in the Purple Knights' 17-2 win at Holy Family on Saturday. The Long Island native piled up a team-high four caused turnovers to go along with five ground balls.
Thomas, who has started all eight games for UB, is currently ranked second in the CACC in caused turnovers this season (17).
The University of Bridgeport's men's lacrosse team will return to action on Wednesday night against Post (6 p.m.).
