Men's Basketball Continues Steady Climb Up National Rankings
Purple Knights Check In At Number 14 In The Nation In This Week's NABC NCAA Division II Poll
Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport men's basketball team, under the direction of head coach Mike Ruane, continue the program's steady climb in the national rankings as this week, the Purple Knights check in at number 14 in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) NCAA Division II Top-25 after being slotted number 17 last week and number 24 two weeks ago.
UB also checks in at number 13 in this week's D2SIDA National Poll moving up from number 25 last week.
Winners of 12 games in a row after victories at St. Thomas Aquinas and Mercy last week, Bridgeport returns to the court with a 16-2 overall mark and a perfect 8-0 East Coast Conference ledger at Queens (N.Y.) College on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 p.m.
