RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Wrapping up another four-game conference series, the University of Bridgeport's baseball team suffered a pair of defeats at Felician University on Sunday. The Purple Knights dropped matchups of 13-3 and 9-0.
Jeremy Rodrigues led the UB offense with three hits on the day. He hit an RBI double in the opener and knocked one of Bridgeport's two singles in the finale.
Rodrigues walked as well in the second contest of the day. He is now batting .307 this season with a team-high seven doubles.
Anthony Matturro recorded a double of his own in the first game of the day before scoring a run on a double steal.
Anthony Armenia, meanwhile, tallied an RBI single in the opener.

The Purple Knights will host Georgian Court on Saturday in a noon doubleheader.
