Baseball's Krempasky Named CACC Rookie of the Week

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Following a terrific three-game stretch last week, Patrick Krempasky of the University of Bridgeport's baseball team has been selected as the CACC Rookie of the Week.

Krempasky batted a team-best .500 in contests against Chestnut Hill and Assumption last week. He finished the stretch with two doubles, three runs scored and two RBIs. Krempasky is now leading the Purple Knights in total hits (28), on-base percentage (.479), runs scored (15), and doubles (9) this season.

Krempasky and the rest of the Bridgeport baseball team will return to action on Wednesday against Bloomfield (3 p.m.).
