Bio

Brooke Venkitachalam has served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at UB since August 2024. She provides care for Bridgeport’s women’s soccer, gymnastics, and women’s lacrosse teams.

Venkitachalam is a 2024 graduate of Quinnipiac University’s Athletic Training Program, where she was a student athletic trainer for the cross country, softball, and men’s lacrosse teams. She was also an athletic training student for Yale University Gymnastics, University of Colorado at Boulder Football, and Cheshire Academy (CT) Athletics.

Venkitachalam’s professional service also includes two years served on the National Athletic Trainer’s Association (NATA) Student Leadership Committee as the District 1 Representative, where she served as the liaison between athletic training students of New England and the NATA, as well as planning student-focused programming to offer at national athletic training conventions.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Venkitachalam is now a resident of Wallingford, CT. She spends her free time hiking, reading, and trying out new restaurants and farmer’s markets in Connecticut.
