Cieszkiewicz and Mah Selected as UB's Purple Knights of the Week (Nov. 3-9)

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – In recognition of exceptional efforts across four contests last week, freshman Camdyn Cieszkiewicz of the University of Bridgeport's volleyball team and senior Lucas Mah of the men's soccer squad have been announced as UB's Purple Knights of the Week, for the week ending Nov. 9, 2025.

Cieszkiewicz turned in another stellar week for the Purple Knights, averaging 11.1 assists per set over a 1-1 stretch. The sophomore setter surpassed the 40-assist mark in both matches, highlighted by a 47-assist effort in Saturday's win at Wilmington. She also contributed on the defensive end, totaling 15 digs and seven block assists across the two contests.

Mah played a pivotal role in UB's 2-1 comeback victory over Dominican in Sunday's CACC Quarterfinals. The native of Switzerland assisted both of the Purple Knights' goals, helping turn the tide after trailing for more than 60 minutes. Mah skillfully flicked a pair of corner kicks from the near post into the box, setting up Samuel Dundas' equalizer in the 68th minute and Loik Poder's game-winner in the 85th.
