Clement Anet Earns His Third CACC Goalkeeper of the Week Honor So Far This Season
Made 11 Saves And Allowed Only One Goal In A Pair Of UB Victories Last Week
New Haven, Conn.-For the third time this season, University of Bridgeport men's soccer goalie Clement Anet (Grad., Cosse le Vivien, France) has selected as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference's (CACC) Goalkeeper of the Week for his outstanding play in matches that took place from September 19 through 125, 2022.
Clement shares this week's award with Luke Shank of Holy Family University
Last week, Anet went a perfect 2-0-0 helping the Purple Knights to road wins over Dominican University New York and Goldey-Beacom College, as he allowed only one goal.
At Dominican, he blanked the Chargers making a total of six saves, including several point-blank stops in the opening minutes of the contest. On Saturday at Goldey-Beacom, he added five more saves to lift UB to its fifth straight win.
Two Purple Knights also earned sports on this week's CACC Honor Roll for their sports in sophomore Lucas Sousa (Campinas, Brazil) from the men's soccer team; as well as, sophomore Angelina LoFranco (Greenacres, Fla.) from the women's soccer program.
