Men’s Soccer Earns No. 3 Seed Ahead of 2023 CACC Tournament
Third seeded UB will host their CACC quarterfinal match against sixth seeded Caldwell University on Monday, November 6th.
Bridgeport, Conn. – The University of Bridgeport men's soccer team will open the 2023 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Tournament as the number three seed, at home on Knights Field against the Cougars of Caldwell University. This opening round match will be played at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 6th.
The regular season matchup between the Cougars and Purple Knights saw Bridgeport win on a 4-2 scoreline. UB's goal scorers on October 24th were Lucas Sousa (Jr., Campinas, Brazil), Joao Miranda (Fr., Bridgeport, Conn.) and Maximilian Kissel (So., Wiesbaden, Germany) with two goals.
Monday's winner will move on the CACC Men's Soccer Semifinals which will take place on Friday in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The UB/Caldwell victor will face the winner of the Felician vs. Georgian Court contest that will also be played on Monday.
The 2023 CACC Men's Soccer Championship will be played on Sunday, November 12th at 2:00 p.m., and again the match will take place at Knights Field on the University of Bridgeport Campus. The CACC men's soccer champion will receive an automatic bid to this year's NCAA Division II Men's Soccer National Championship Tournament that will begin on November 16th.

Admission for all rounds of the CACC Men's Soccer Championship is $10 for adults & $5 for children, seniors and college students with a valid school ID. Children under three years of age will be admitted for free.
