Markus Naglestad Named East Coast Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player And Rookie Of The Year
Patric Brundin and Clayton Ulmer Also Earn All-ECC Honors
Central Islip, N.Y.-The University of Bridgeport freshman forward Markus Naglestad (Kristiansand, Norway) has been selected as the 2010 East Coast Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year, as well as First Team All-Conference in a vote of league coaches that was released after Sunday's East Coast Conference Men's Soccer Championship match.
Naglestad led the Purple Knights and the conference with 15 goals and nine assists for 39 points this season.
Also earning 2010 All-ECC men's soccer honors were junior forward Patric Brundin (Gothenburg, Sweden) and freshmen defender Clayton Ulmer (Hamden, Conn.) who were named to the All-East Coast Conference Second Team.
