Men's Soccer Plays To 2-2 Draw With Wilmington (Del.) University
Purple Knights Now 9-5-2 Overall On the Season

Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport men's soccer team remained unbeaten in its last six matches (four wins and two ties) with a 2-2 double overtime non-conference draw at home with the Wilmington (Del.) University Wildcats. With the tie, UB is now 9-5-2 overall. Wilmington is now 6-10-2 overall.
The Purple Knights grabbed a 2-0 in the first half on a pair of goals by freshman Markus Naglestad (Kristiansand, Norway). Naglestad now leads UB with 13 goals on the season.
Wilmington tied the game in the second half on a penalty kick by Anthony Randazzo in the 47th minute and a goal by Tony DeVirgilio in the 78th minute.
The Bridgeport men return to action on Saturday evening at home when they close out the regular season with an important East Coast Conference match versus St. Thomas Aquinas College. Game time is 6:00 p.m. If the Purple Knights win or tie versus STAC they will host an East Coast Conference Championship Tournament semifinal match on Friday, November 5th.
