Purple Knights Post 4-3 Double Overtime Win At Number 13 Bloomfield College
Freshman Calyton Ulmer Tallies Game-Winning Goal

Ulmer's (Hamden, Conn.) goal 2:56 into the second overtime
gave the University of Bridgeport men's soccer team a big 4-3 road
win over the Bloomfield College Deacons, who entered the match
ranked number 13 in the nation. Ulmer's game-winner is his
first goal of 2010. With the win, the Purple Knights are now
7-5-0 overall. Bloomfield is now 9-2-0 overall.
Tuesday's win is Bridgeport's fourth overtime triumph so far this
year.
Junior Martin
Iwasinski (Ludlow, Mass) scored the Purple Knights'
first goal on Tuesday afternoon. The score is Martin's first
of the season.
Freshman Markus Naglestad (Kristiansand, Norway) scored Bridgeport's middle two goals against Bloomfield to raise his team-leading total to five goals scored so far this season. He also assisted on the game-winning and first goals of the match to give him a six-point afternoon. Naglestad also leads Bridgeport in points with 17. Markus two goals started the Purple Knights three-goal comeback to win after trailing 3-1. His scores came in the 83rd and 85th minutes to tie the match.
The UB men's soccer team will next be in action at home on Thursday night as they host a non-conference contest with Concordia (N.Y.) College. Game time at Knights Field is set for 5:30 p.m.
