Volleyball's Madison Jongsma Named To 2022 Academic All-District Team Selected By College Sports Communicators
Will Now Move On To The National Ballot
Bridgeport, Conn.-University of Bridgeport sophomore women's volleyball student-athlete Madison Jongsma (Sanford, Fla.) has earned a spot on the 2002 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (formally known as CoSIDA).
Jongsma is a Nursing major at the University of Bridgeport.
The 2022 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be nominated as a CSC Academic All-District® selection, a student-athlete must be a starter or important reserve (having seen action in at least half of his or her team's contests) with at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at his/her current institution.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, Second- and Third-Team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early December.
