Amanda Keller Selected To 2019 American Volleyball Coaches Association All-East Region Team
Sophomore Leads The Purple Knights With An Impressive .389 Hitting Percentage So Far In 2019
Lexington, Ky.-Along with her selection to the 2019 Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CAA) All-East Region Volleyball Team, sophomore middle blocker Amanda Keller (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) added another honor to her impressive resume on Wednesday when she was named as one of 14 players on the American Volleyball Coaches Association All-East Region team as announced by the organization.
Keller, a First Team All-East Conference selection, leads UB in hitting percentage at .389 which is second in conference and thirteenth in the nation. She is second on team and sixth in conference in total kills with 270, and also second on the Purple Knights and fourth in the East Coast Conference in blocks averaging 0.70 per set
Amanda and her teammates will begin play at the 2019 NCAA Division East Regional tomorrow, Thursday, December 5, at 12 noon when Bridgeport, the number three seed, faces Georgian Court University, the number six seed, at Molloy College in Rockville, New York.
