Denver, Colo.-The host Roadrunners of Metropolitan State University Denver (2-1-0) scored the only goal of the match just 6:19 into the second half to post a 1-0 win over the University of Bridgeport women's soccer team on Sunday afternoon in Colorado. With the loss, UB is now 1-3-0 on the season. All three of the Purple Knights' losses so far in 2022 have come by a single goal.
Bridgeport outshot the hosts, 13-10 on the afternoon and finished with a 5-3 advantage in corner kicks.
