Allendale, Mich.-The University of Bridgeport women's soccer wrapped up its weekend trip to the state of Michigan with a 6-0 lost at Grand Valley State University on Sunday afternoon. The loss evens the Purple Knights' season mark at 2-2-0, and the Lakers, ranked number three in the nation, remain perfect on the season at 4-0-0.
Bridgeport senior goalkeeper Jennifer Wendelius (Lidingo, Sweden) faced a whopping 28 shots and made 14 saves on the afternoon.
Up next, the UB women's soccer team will open East Coast Conference play at LIU Post on Saturday afternoon, September 15th. Game time is 12 noon.
