Bridgeport Women's Soccer Earns Sixteenth Consecutive College Team Academic Award
Purple Knights Have Been Recognized For Their Academic Success For Every Year Since 2002

Kansas City. Mo.-For the sixteenth consecutive season, the University of Bridgeport women's soccer program has been recognized by United Soccer Coaches with a College Team Academic Award.
A total of 813 collegiate teams (282 men, 531 women) earned the Team Academic Award, including 195 schools who had both their men's and women's programs among the recipients posting 3.0 or higher grade point averages.
The UB women's soccer team, under the direction of nineteenth-year head coach Magnus Nilerud, posted a 3.51 grade point average during the 2016-17 academic year to earn the award for the sixteenth straight season (every year since 2002).
