Three UB Women's Soccer Standouts Earn 2014 Daktronics/Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-East Region Second Team Honors
Danielle Puddefoot, Nicola Worthington and Weidenmark Receive All-Region Accolades
Bridgeport, Conn.-Three University of Bridgeport women's soccer players have earned spots on the 2014 Daktronics/Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-East Region Second Team for their outstanding play this past season.
Named to the 2014 Daktronics/Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-East Region Second Team were forward, senior Danielle Puddefoot (Slough, England), sophomore, midfielder Nicola Worthington (Cholley, England) and sophomore, defender Julia Weidenmark (Varnamo, Sweden).
All three players helped the UB women's soccer team go 14-5-2 overall in 2014 and reach the Second Round of the 2014 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship Tournament.
Puddefoot led the 2014 Purple Knights in scoring with 25 points on 20 goals and five assists, and both Worthington and Weidenmark also earned First Team All-East Coast Conference honors.
