UB Women's Soccer Set For Spring Season

Bridgeport, Conn.-The Spring of 2014 will see the University of Bridgeport women's soccer team take on some top opposition that play at the NCAA Division 1 and Division 2 levels; while entertaining various programs at the annual 7 v 7 tournament. Having graduated two seniors from last year's East Coast Conference Champion and NCAA Tournament team, the spring season will allow for plenty opportunity and preparation for the returning players to get ready for the Fall. 

The first match of the spring season will see the Purple Knights host Division 1, the University of Rhode Island, on March 29th at 5pm. 

The month of April sees UB taking part in the University of New Haven 7 v 7 tourney on the 6th,
hosting Assumption on the 9th  at 7:30 p.m. and also hosting annual UB 7 v 7 tournament at Knights Field on the 13th.

The final spring game of the season brings Fairfield University to Knights Field on April 24th for the annual Diana Silonova Fundraiser Game at 7:30 p.m. This special evening has proved to be extremely successful over the past few years, and we would ask everyone to come out and take part in what is a very enjoyable night out.
