UB Women's Soccer Earns Twelfth Consecutive NSCAA Team Academic Award

Bridgeport, Conn.-For the twelfth consecutive season, the University of Bridgeport women's soccer program has been recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) with a College Team Academic Award.
A total of 724 soccer teams (221 men, 503 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA Team Academic Award for the 2011-12 academic year
The UB women's soccer team, under the direction of fourteenth-year head coach Magnus Nilerud, posted a 3.39 grade point average to earn its twelfth consecutive NSCAA Team Academic Award.
On the field in 2012, the Purple Knights posted an 11-6-2 overall record and advanced to the East Coast Conference Championship Tournament Final.
