Purple Knights Raise Season Mark To 6-0-0
Bloomsburg, Pa.-Senior Kasey Kenny (Staten Island, N.Y.) scored the only goal of the match just 9:28 into play, and sophomore goalkeeper Julia Hansson (Tocksfors, Sweden) made it stand up by making nine saves to record her fourth shutout in six games, as the University of Bridgeport women's soccer team, ranked fifth in the nation in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division II National Poll, notched a hard-fought 1-0 road win over the host Bloomsburg University Huskies on Tuesday night. With the win, UB remains undefeated on the season at 6-0-0. Bloomsburg is now 3-3-0 overall so far in 2011.

Hansson made six first half stops and added three in the second half to record her fourth clean sheet of 2011 for the Purple Knights and lower her goals against average to 0.33.
Bloomsburg outshot Bridgeport, 14-11, on the night.
