Waltham. Mass.-It was a tough Sunday afternoon on the road for the University of Bridgeport women's basketball team, as the Purple Knights saw their two-game winning streak come to an end as the team was limited to only 17 second points, as UB fell to the host Bentley University Falcons, 84-44, in a non-conference contest. Bridgeport is now an even 3-3 so far this season, and Bentley remains undefeated at 6-0.
Sophomore Kadijah Dickson (Queens. N.Y.) led UB in scoring with 15 points.
Junior Samnell Vonleh (Swampscott. Mass.) grabbed a six rebounds and blocked five shots for the Purple Knights, and junior Nicole Johnson (Newark, N.J.) pulled down a team-high seven rebounds for Bridgeport.
Up next, the UB women's basketball team will take a 10-day break before returning to the court and East Coast Conference action at LIU Post on Wednesday, December 6. Game time is set for 5:00 p.m.
