UB Now 2-2 On The Season-Purple Knights Back In Action On Saturday At Home Versus Caldwell

Rindge, N.H.-Junior Tiara Aziz (Easton, Pa.) and sophomore Shannon Holt (Holden, Mass.) each scored 20 points, but it was not enough for the University of Bridgeport women's basketball team as the Purple Knights dropped an 86-64 road decision to the host Ravens of Franklin Pierce University on Sunday afternoon. The Purple Knights never led on the day, and the game was only tied once at 4-4. UB is now 2-2 on the year, and the Ravens are now 1-2.
Holt also led the Purple Knights on the boards with six rebounds.
FPU's Charette Kara led all scorers on the day with 23 points.
Bridgeport will look to get in the win column on Saturday when they return to Hubbell Gym to host Caldwell College. Tip-off is set for 1:00 p.m.
