Bridgeport Softball Among Eight Teams In First NCAA Listing Of Teams Under Consideration For 2021 East Regional Play
UB Is Back In Action At Home On Thursday Afternoon At 2:30 p.m. Versus Mercy College
Indianapolis, Indiana-The University of Bridgeport softball team is currently among the eight teams listed for NCAA Regional consideration in the first listing for the 2021 season released by the NCAA on Wednesday afternoon, April 21.
Each NCAA Division II softball regional this season will be made up of six teams.
Listed from the East Region in alphabetic order are (with team records through Sunday, April 18):
Adelphi (16-6)
Bridgeport (11-1)
Franklin Pierce (9-5)
Georgian Court (19-3)
Molloy (16-10)
New Haven (16-4)
Saint Anselm (15-3)
St. Thomas Aquinas (13-3)
The NCAA will release two more listing of teams under consideration for regional play the following two Wednesdays (April 28 and May 5) before the final field is released on Monday, May 17.

Head coach Dawn Stearns and her team are back in action at home tomorrow, Wednesday, April 22, when UB hosts Mercy College in an important East Coast Conference doubleheader beginning at 2:30 p.m.
