XC Squads Compete At The Fred Pavlich Invitational Hosted By Bard College
Men Take Seventh And Women Finish In Fourth Place On The Day
Annandale-On-Hudson N.Y. -The University of Bridgeport cross country teams took part in the Fred Pavlich Invitational hosted by Bard College on Saturday afternoon, UB women took fourth out of seven teams, and the Bridgeport men finished in seventh place.
For the Bridgeport men, junior D'Andre Collins (Newark, N.J.) was the team's top finisher covering the 8K course in a time of 35:33.2, which put him in 29th place. Senior Tyler McNeil (Richmond, Va.) was the next UB finisher just behind Collins in 30th place in a time of 35.36.8
On the women's side, junior Alexandra Toth (Sandy Hook, Conn.) was UB's top finisher covering the 6K course in a time of 27:30.1 placing her in 13th. Graduate student Alexis Richardson (Coram, N.Y.) was the next Purple Knight across the finish line taking 18th place in a time of 29:10.9
Up next, the Bridgeport cross country teams will be in action at Mt. St. Mary's (NY) next Sunday.
