Cross Country Teams Take Part In James Early Invitational Hosted By Westfield State

Westfield, Mass.-The University of Bridgeport cross country teams took part in the James Early Invitational hosted by Westfield State University on Saturday morning, and the UB men finished in 37th place, and the UB women took 31st place in the event.

The top finisher for the Bridgeport men was Adam Glantz (Grad., Helsginborg, Sweden), who covered the 8K course in time of 32:18.53.

For the Purple Knights' women, graduate student, Alina Sotnikova (Riga, Latvia) was the team's top runner finishing the 5K course in a time of 22:30.85.

The UB cross country teams will next be in action at 2015 East Coast Conference Championship hosted by LIU Post on October 24th.
