Purple Knights And St. Anselm Battle In An Entertaining Non-Conference Men's Basketball Clash On Wednesday Night
Visiting Hawks Top UB, 90-82
Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport men's basketball team managed to slice a 13-point, second half deficit down to only three points twice during the final 20 minutes of play, 60-57 with 11:34 remaining and 66-63 with 7:44 to go, but that was as close as the Purple Knights would come as UB fell, 90-82, to the visiting St. Anselm College Hawks in an entertaining, non-conference contest in Hubbell Gym on Wednesday night. UB is now 2-5 on the season, and St. Anselm moves to 3-2 overall.
