Basketball Teams Remain Strong In NCAA East Regional Rankings
Men Move Up To Number Seven-Women Hold At Number 10
Indianapolis, Indiana-Both the University of Bridgeport men's and women's basketball remained ranked in the NCAA East Regional ranks that were released on Wedneday. The UB men moved up from the ninth spot to number seven in the region, and the Bridgeport women remained at number 10 in the East.
MEN BASKETBALL RANKING INFORMATION
The University of Bridgeport men's basketball team, winners of 11 games in a row and 15 of their last 16 outings, is ranked seventh in the East Region in the second NCAA Regional ranking of the 2012-13 season. The Purple Knights have an 18-8 overall record so far this season, and sit atop the East Coast Conference standings. The UB men will finish their season on Saturday, at home, versus Dowling College.
The NCAA will release one more regional poll on March 6 this season.

WOMEN BASKETBALL RANKING INFORMATION

The Purple Knights have a 16-8 record, and are currently third in the East Coast Conference. The UB women will finish out their season on Saturday, at home, versus Dowling College.
