Women's Soccer Moves Up To Number Five In NSCAA National Rankings

Purple Knights Open NCAA Play At Home On Sunday At 1:00 P.M.

Kansas City. Mo.-After defeating Roberts Wesleyan College, 4-0, in the 2015 East Coast Conference Women's Soccer Championship Final in Saturday, the University of Bridgeport women's soccer team (18-1-1 overall record) has move up to number five in the nation this week after being slotted number seven in last week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) NCAA Division II National Poll.

This week, the Purple Knights, under the direction of head coach Magnus Nilerud, will host an NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Championship Match at 1:00 p/m. on Sunday, November 15 against the winner of Friday's match between the number five seed, LIU Post Pioneers and the number four seed, Roberts Wesleyan College Redhawks. UB is the number one in the East Region.
