Manchester, N.H.-The University of Bridgeport women's soccer team remained unbeaten in the early going of the 2014 season with a 0-0 double overtime draw against the host Southern New Hampshire Penmen on Wednesday afternoon. Both teams are now 2-0-1 on the season.
Freshman goalkeeper Lina Domberg (Orebro, Sweden) made one save for UB, and Autumn Scanlon made four stops for SNHU. Bridgeport outshot Southern New Hampshire, 16-7, on the day, but neither team could find the back of the net.
Up next, the UB women's soccer team will conclude its season-opening road trip at Georgian Court University in Lakewood, N.J. this Monday, September 15. Action is slated to begin at 3:00 p.m.
