Bridgeport, Conn.-University of Bridgeport goalkeeper Julia Hansson (So., Tocksfors, Sweden) has finished the 2011 season as the national leader for NCAA Division II Women's Soccer in goals against average and save percentage.
Julia and her Bridgeport teammates allowed only five goals against during their 18-game 2011 schedule which works out to a 0.271 goals against average. Her save percentage for the season was 0.955.
As a team, the Bridgeport women's soccer squad, which went 16-0-2 during the 2011 campaign and was ranked number one in the nation for six weeks during the regular season, finished number one in the country in goals against average (0.271), save percentage (0.955) and winning percentage at 0.944.
