Bio

Nicole is a Kinnelon, New Jersey native, and a 2017 graduate from the University of New Haven, where she played lacrosse and majored in clinical/community psychology.

She was a four-year starter in the midfield for the Chargers, playing on both sides of the field. At the end of her senior year, Nicole was named an IWLCA Division II All-American. She also was named on the IWLCA All-North Region Second Team in 2017, the IWLCA All-North Region Third Team in 2015, the Northeast-10 All-Conference Second Team in 2015, the Northeast-10 All-Conference Third Team in 2017 and 2016, the Northeast-10 All-Conference Rookie Team in 2014, and was named University of New Haven’s Female Rookie of the Year in 2014. For her career, she ranks among the Chargers’ top-10 in goals – at tenth with 121, draw controls –at number eight with 137, and groundballs – at tenth with 107.

Belanger was a three-year assistant coach for Metro Magic Lacrosse Club in New York, and is now a coach for Nor’easter Lacrosse Club in Connecticut.
