Bridgeport, Conn.-The University of Bridgeport women's lacrosse team closed out the home portion of its 2021 schedule on Wednesday night with a 19-3 East Coast Conference loss against the visiting Mercy College Mavericks. UB is now both 1-3 overall and in conference play. Mercy moves to 7-1 overall and 2-0 in the ECC.
Senior Giselle Hall (Fairport, N.Y.).) had a goal and an assist for the Purple Knights, and junior Jessica Kinser (Voorhees, N.J.) plus sophomore Tereza Kreuzova (Prague, Czech Republic) also added single goals.
Junior Abbie Jones (Rising Sun, Md.) made 11 saves in net for the hosts.
