Gymnastics Scores High in Dual Meet Win at Brown
Purple Knights finish with a team score of 194.250, their second-highest mark of the season.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Competing in their final dual meet of the season, the University of Bridgeport's gymnastics team earned a victory over Brown on Sunday afternoon. The Purple Knights finished with a team score of 194.250, which is their second-highest mark of the season.

A season-best performance by Abigail Kenney led the way for the Purple Knights. The New Jersey native posted her highest all-around score of the year courtesy of a 39.150.
Kenney was especially impressive on beam and floor where she posted respective marks of 9.825 and 9.850—both of which were team highs. She also registered a squad-best score of 9.700 on bars.
Hannah Barry matched Kenney's 9.825 on beam, which was the highest mark of all competitors on Sunday.
Sophomore Lola Sepulveda served as UB's top performer on vault with a season-high score of 9.825 while freshman Nova Staruk earned a 9.800 in the same event.
Sepulveda also maneuvered a 9.825 on floor en route to an all-around total of 39.075, her third-highest score of the year.
In total, the balance beam offered the most success for the Purple and White. Sophomore Molly McAleavey was instrumental in the performance with a season-high tally of 9.750.
