Gymnastics Defeats Centenary in Dual Meet
The Purple Knights finished with their third-highest mark of the season courtesy of a 193.025.
SHREVEPORT, La. – Competing in their second dual meet of the season, the University of Bridgeport's gymnastics team defeated Centenary College on Monday night. The Purple Knights finished with their third-highest score of the year courtesy of a 193.025.

Amongst an array of great performances, it was the sophomore duo of Lola Sepulveda and Abigail Kenney that piloted UB. They finished tied atop the vault standings with scores of 9.775 while also finishing 1-2 on floor.
Sepulveda took home the top score on floor with a 9.8 while Kenney posted a second-place mark of 9.750.
Kenney would go on to lead UB on the balance beam as well. The New Jersey native tallied a winning score of 9.825 en route to an all-around mark of 38.875 (2nd highest this season).
Junior Olivia Imbarlina placed second on the beam with a mark of 9.700.
On the bars, it was freshman Emily Hernandez leading the way with one of the highest scores of the night. The California native earned a season-high 9.825 in the event. She was followed by sophomore Samantha Nokes, who registered a mark of 9.700.

The Purple Knights will once again be home on March 3 when they host a quad meet against Brown, Rhode Island College and Talladega College.
